In WoW (buy now 24,99 € ) it is completely natural that we can look at the complete equipment of characters that our heroes have never met. The Armory makes it possible. But the developers have now made it clear that you will definitely have to do without the feature at the launch of Classic. For a simple reason: At the launch of WoW at the end of 2004, this feature was not available.

Now it's official: No Arsenal in WoW Classic

Until now, Blizzard had given the info from an interview with Wowhead that the developers were not yet sure whether the Arsenal will be part of the Classic launch features. Now, however, they have given certainty during a Q&A on Classic that the Arsenal will not be available at the launch of Classic:

"There was no Arsenal in WoW until the release of The Burning Crusade. If you wanted to know more about a player's gear before bringing them into your party, you had to meet them in the world and inspect them in person (until patch 2.4, you couldn't inspect opposing faction players either). You also couldn't see their specialization or talents when you inspected them. To keep this dynamic the same, we won't have an arsenal or profile pages at WoW Classic launch either."

A win for fans of the pure Classic experience

True Classic purists should be doing a happy dance right about now: To learn more about other players' characters, you'll have to actually meet them and maybe even get to know them. So "spying" before you meet someone in WoW Classic won't be possible.
