WoW: This weekend the Arena Tournament of Burning Crusade Classic will start.

For some fans of the Burning Crusade era, there's one reason in particular to pay regular visits to Outland these days: the Arena, where groups engage in exciting team deathmatch matches. While the arena format is still available in retail WoW, it doesn't feature the class design and balancing from the TBC era. And the toughening value also played a special role back then.

If you're a fan of the early days of Arena PvP, you'll want to carve out an hour or two this weekend. Starting on Friday, July 23, the official Arena Tournament for WoW (Buy Now €14.99)

: Burning Crusade Classic will take place. Out of over 150 teams that registered prior to last weekend's qualifiers, eight groups each in North America and Europe qualified for the epic conclusion of the first Burning Crusade Classic Arena Tournament.

These remaining teams will now play for a total prize pool of $30,000. The tournament organizers are joined by special guest performers as well as Holly Longdale, Lead Producer of Burning Crusade Classic. You can watch the tournament on Youtube or on Kimuh's Twitch channel. In addition, some of the participating players will also be streaming their games on their own channels.

• Broadcast start time: 18:00 Central European Time
• Prize: 30,000 US dollars, divided into 15,000 US dollars per region
