Remember the computer in the Day of the Tentacle adventure game where you could play its prequel, Maniac Mansion? Wouldn't it be cool to have something like that in World of Warcraft? We think: definitely! A WoW fan has thought about what exactly this could look like and posted a corresponding concept on reddit. The result is something to be proud of and awakens many a desire in us.

A pleasant pastime?

The reddit user xperio28 has posted a video illustrating his idea, which shows a character in the library of the Mage Tower of Stromgarde. The character sits down at a table and xperio28 clicks on a separate menu icon to open a new window titled "Warcraft Adventures." This window is reminiscent of an arcade of sorts and offers three choices in a separate tab: Warcraft I, Warcraft II and Hearthstone.

We then see the player click through more Warcraft II menus (single and multiplayer, as well as campaign and scenario) before beginning the first chapter of the human campaign. A longer loading screen follows before the actual game begins and xperio28 can play the campaign of Warcraft II in WoW (buy now )

Fans want Mario Kart and Gold Saucer

The WoW community, at least on reddit, is not entirely unanimous about whether it would be a good idea to integrate Warcraft II and Hearthstone into WoW. However, many reddit users would definitely like to see a way to pass the time with more mini-games and, for example, to use certain toys or mounts for Mario Kart-like competitions. An adaptation of Final Fantasy's Gold Saucer has also been mentioned. What do you guys think about this? What do you think of the xperio 28 concept? And would you like to see more minigames in WoW?
