The Wandering Urtum is undoubtedly one of the highlights of patch 9.0.5, as the fancy Urtum mount received the most votes in Blizzard's community poll several months ago. The new mount is fancy, but the animation of the tree giant triggers a graphics bug, which is currently causing a lot of chaos in WoW.
Now, WoW players aren't exactly known for their restraint when it comes to bugs. Whether it's in the capital, a world boss, or on the battlefield, the Wandering Urtum is taking away players' vision. The reason for this is a bug in the animation of the tree monster spreading its icy jaws during the mount special. If you cancel the shaking (by dismounting, for example), the ice effects and the pines just stay suspended in the air for quite a while, resulting in capitals that are currently full of Urtum leftovers. Fun detail: If you have the costumed Winter Pepe with you, the little bird also floats in the air. WoW player Hezerd even made a short explainer video about it:

In the cities of World of Warcraft (buy now 14,99 € ) the bug is half as bad, after all, players usually have enough space to avoid all the ice-pine chaos. In the tight spaces on the battlegrounds, however, the primal bug is causing discomfort at the moment, as players literally can't see the forest for the trees. Those riding small ground mounts are currently at a disadvantage in PvP!
